2020 Summer Programming


We are able to offer a full line up of Summer Volleyball programming, however, in order to try to ensure safety for all,
our initial re-start programs will only be available to current club members as we are adhering to guidelines for our current community.
Please check back soon to see if we are able to offer additional programming.

VOLLEYKIDZ - FUNdamentals for kids Gr2-5 & Gr6-7

This program will provide training focussed on fundamental skill development in a fast, fun, learning environment. Kidz will work with experienced coaches and/or players to learn proper technique for serving, receiving, setting, attacking, blocking and defense along with athletic SAQ development.

VOLLEYKIDZ will use alternative equipment to ensure that kids are able to learn and have fun without the frustration of full sized nets, or heavier balls.

 VOLLEYKIDZ is being offered for two kidz age groups:

 

Group 1: will be for kidz in Grades 2-5 and offered on Mondays from 5-6pm for 5 weeks. 

  • Session 1 will run on: Sept 30, Oct 7, Oct 21, Oct 28, Nov 4 (No Session on Oct 14 - Thanksgiving)
  • Session 2 will run on Nov 18, Nov 25, Dec 2, Dec 9, Dec 16

Cost: $50 per Session(5 training night - either Session 1 or Session 2)

 

 

Group 2: will be for kidz in Grades 6-7 and offered on Mondays from 6-7pm for 5 weeks. ***This group has been combined with the Synergy Train & Play 4v4 League and will include Gr6-7-8.

  • Session 1 will run on: Sept 30, Oct 7, Oct 21, Oct 28, Nov 4 (No Session on Oct 14 - Thanksgiving)
  • Session 2 will run on Nov 18, Nov 25, Dec 2, Dec 9, Dec 16

Cost: $50 per Session(5 training night - either Session 1 or Session 2)

All sessions will take place at the new RE Mountain Secondary School Gymnasiums - 7633 202A Street, Langley

 


 

 SYNERGY Train & Play 4v4 League

Our Train & Play 4v4 League is open to boys and girls. Practices once a week for 10 sessions. This is a perfect fit for athletes looking supplement their school volleyball season, or for those not participating on school teams.

How do I sign up?  Do I need to try out?
There are no tryouts required for this program. You will need to register online. Participants can register as an Individual or as a pre-formed team of 4. Registration typically fills quickly, so you are encouraged to register early. Waitlists will be maintained once programs fill.  

Is Train & Play for me?
Train & Play is for male/female middle/high school athletes who are looking to stay involved in volleyball, improve their skills, or wish to participate in a program as an alternative for those not participating on school teams; or for those wishing to supplement their school season with some fun, fast paced, competition.  If you are available to train/play one day a week and want to play volleyball, Train & Play 4v4 league is for you!

 Where do we play?
All sessions will take place at the new RE Mountain Secondary School Gymnasiums - 7633 202A Street, Langley 

What would my schedule be?
Train & Play typically meets one evening per week.  We understand that our athletes are balancing a full schedule along with volleyball. Sessions will run 90 minutes. The first 30 minutes will be focussed on skill development with the remaining 60 minutes dedicated to competition.
